Submission Guidelines

We accept manuscripts across many genres and formats. We're looking for work that demonstrates craft, authenticity, and a clear voice. We don't just publish any manuscript—we partner with authors whose work aligns with our mission of artisanal, quality publishing.

What We're Looking For

• Manuscripts demonstrating strong writing and clear voice
• Authors committed to the publishing process and marketing their work
• Fiction and non-fiction across all genres
• Completed or nearly-completed manuscripts
• Work that will appeal to thoughtful, engaged readers

Submission Requirements

• Manuscript in .doc or .docx format
• Manuscript between 40,000 and 120,000 words
• Include a one-page synopsis
• Include a brief author bio (100-150 words)
• Author statement of publishing goals and timeline

Send your materials to submissions@bookwriterspress.com. Please allow 6-8 weeks for a response. If we're interested, we'll contact you to discuss your project and determine if BookWriters Press is the right fit.

Note: We respond to all submissions, though we can only provide detailed feedback to manuscripts we're seriously considering.
